Utilities are separate from rent, and here is what you can expect:
  • Valet Trash—Collection of trash from your door Sunday through Thursday, $19.75 a month, which is charged with rent.
  • Water and Sewer —$3.60 monthly administrative fee, plus your usage, also charged with rent.
  • Pest Control —$1.00 monthly
  • Electric—All of our apartment homes are fully electric, and will be billed per personal usage through IPL
Our security deposits are due at move-in and are fully refundable. Your deposit is pending credit approval and can range from $300.00 to 1-months' rent.
Our application fee is a non-refundable $60.00, per applicant.
Yes, our community is exceptionally pet friendly! Both cats and dogs are welcome to call Somerset Lakes home, with a two pet per household maximum. A $300 non-refundable pet fee for the first pet, and a $200.00 non-refundable fee for the 2nd pet. Pet rent is $25.00 a month, per pet. No weight restrictions, certain breed restrictions apply.
Somerset Lakes Apartments is located within the Washington Township Community School District. Nearby schools include Clearwater Elementary School, Northview Middle School, and North Central High School.
Residents of Somerset Lakes Apartments can pay their monthly rental charges online through Rent Cafe (e-check, debit/credit card), Personal Check, Cashier’s Check, or Money Order.
We offer assigned parking spots to residents. Carports, single car garages, and double car garages are also available. Here is what you can expect if you would like to rent a covered parking option:
  • Carport: $75.00 a month
  • Single Car Garage: $75.00 a month
  • Double Car Garage: $150.00 a month
We do require renter’s insurance and offer a plan through Assurant that is $14.50 a month, or you can bring your own insurance. Your renter’s insurance policy should have $100,000 of liability coverage and $10,000 personal liability.
Somerset offers a wide variety of amenities! Enjoy our resident center, wi-fi lounge, 80-acre spring-fed lake, garden plots, swimming pool, basketball and tennis courts, and outdoor grill and entertainment area, state-of-the-art fitness center. We also offer our residents many water activities including boating, kayaking, fishing and paddle boats.
Residents of Somerset Lakes can report maintenance issues easily by using the online Resident Services Portal, calling the office, or emailing the office. For after-hours emergency maintenance, please call 317-253-5219.
Washer and dryers are included in select apartment homes. Should your apartment not be equipped with a washer and dryer, we offer a set in the common area of each building.
We want your apartment to feel like home! All residents are permitted to paint and hang décor. We ask that the apartment is returned in the original condition upon move out.
Somerset Lakes offers the option to dock your boat at our dock. Season passes are only $200.00.
A gate remote can be added to a lease for $75.00 fee, of which $50.00 is refundable upon move out.
